Dear Birth Mother,
Hi, we are Eileen and Tim. We want to thank you for taking the time to learn about us. It must take a great deal of emotion and courage to work towards this decision, and we hope you have good people to help and support you. Should you choose us, we promise to shower your baby with all the love we can give.
We have been married for 14 years and haven’t been blessed with a child. After years of infertility, we suffered through the loss of a pregnancy through miscarriage. We have always hoped to be parents and to do all of the wonderful things families do together. We hope that through adoption we’ll have the family we’ve dreamed of for so long.
We’re kind, hardworking and patient people who have a true sense of community. We’re generous with our time, love and are compassionate of others. We share the same values, interests and enjoy making each other laugh! We have so much love to give to a child and look forward to the adventures of becoming first-time parents.
We live in a nearly 100-year-old home in the suburbs, within walking distance of a community park and local shops. We share our home with a 7-year-old bloodhound, Ally, who loves to play and get her long ears rubbed. She loves to climb up onto the picnic table—the neighbors laugh when they see her laying up there basking in the sun!
Professionally, Tim is a marketing communications manager for a financial services company and Eileen is a graphic/web designer for a manufacturing company. Education is very important to us—we are always taking classes to make sure we're up-to-date with the latest technologies. We volunteer our creative services to a charity that was started for a high school friend of Tim's.
We enjoy participating in a number of activities—from Tim volunteering as a firefighter and being an avid woodworker to Eileen learning to play the bagpipes and decorating cakes. We love to go to concerts, watch movies and travel. We enjoy spending time with our families and friends, at the pool or beach or just hanging out at home. We are so excited to share our lives, interests and traditions with a child and create new memories and experiences.
We were both blessed with loving families and happy memories of growing up and becoming the best adults we could be. We're confident that we'll be wonderful parents as we're surrounded by such great examples. From both our parents, to our brothers and sisters who have raised nephews and nieces we adore—love and laughter fills our homes! Everyone is thrilled that “Auntie Ei” and “Uncle Tim” will soon become parents.
We hope you’ll choose us to be the loving family you hope for your child. We would be forever grateful for the gift of family you have given to us.
We wish the best to you as you make some important decisions for yourself and your baby. Please know that our thoughts are with you.
Best wishes,
Eileen and Tim
